This is a preview of WP GPX Maps Pro, an add-on coming soon. The free plugin stays complete and keeps growing.
Not every map has to look like a road map. For blogs, kids’ trails and treasure hunts there are two themes. Sketch draws the track and the elevation profile as if with a pencil on paper:
Map of the route “Pro preview: sketch and treasure map themes”: 4,38 km, 145 m of climbing and 376 m of descent, elevation between 1.317 m and 1.580 m, time 01:13:54. It starts at 45.91689, 11.84247 and ends at 45.89153, 11.82184 (latitude, longitude).
Total climbing: 145 m
Treasure map turns the route into an old parchment, with a dashed red trail, a compass rose and an X at the finish:
Map of the route “Pro preview: sketch and treasure map themes”: 6,49 km, 1.236 m of climbing and 88 m of descent, elevation between 606 m and 1.753 m, time 01:53:52. It starts at 45.86700, 11.83435 and ends at 45.87277, 11.80264 (latitude, longitude).
Total climbing: 1236 m
Choose a theme for every map in the settings, or for a single map in the block.
