Use in DE/EU prohibited – please make urgent adjustment (GDPR)

Hi,

I use WP GPX Maps 1.7.04 and have seen that Google cookies are set there. There was just a ruling in DE after that is ultimately prohibited – the visitor has no chance to reject the Google cookie.

The ruling also refers to the GDPR and therefore you can assume that this plugin is not really legal EU-wide.

Therefore, please urgently cancel the Google page calls / the setting of Google cookies!

It is important to note that not only fonts are affected but generally pages that reload content. “To avoid a possible lawsuit, websites have to host the content like fonts, scripts or images themselves.”
