Love this plugin, but I’ve got a lot of GPX files that I’ve uploaded. Would be awesome if there was a way to sort the GPX files alphabetically. Right now, when I add a new GPX file, where it shows up in the view seems rather random.
Did you miss the bit about end of support?
Time to find another plugin. I wonder what to do with all the maps I’ve already uploaded in random non alphabetical order. It is already beginning to crumble with the updates to WP.
Developers… please don’t develop plugins if you don’t intend to keep them up til the end of your days.
Users… only use cast iron mainstream plugins if you want a lasting WP site.Digby, no need to be smug. Yes, I saw the message about end of support. I’m using these forums as a means to connect with other users of the plug-in. My hope is that someone will take up the gauntlet and carry this useful plugin forward. I’d do it myself if I knew how!
I’m not being smug, I’m being sarcastic, and disappointed with the withdrawal of support. I spend countless hours maintaining our wordpress site and a good proportion is caused by the general flakiness of it and its plugins. It’s very wearing. As I said, beware of using plugins that are not huge mainstreamers, preferably with a paid pro version. That at least is an incentive to the developers to keep going.
