Show original Image by clicking the thump

Hi all,

I’m using the plugin since several years and I was happy, when I became aware about the feature to show pictures on the track map.
Now I want to ask , if it is possible to enhance this functionality.
When the thumb picture is showing on the map, it should be possible to see the original picture in the same or in another browser window.

Now sure how much effort it would need for this enhancement.
