Would it be possible, one day, to add the ability import a kml file into WP GPX Maps (either by uploading it or via a URL).
The reason for asking for this is that I would like to be be able to add ‘points of interest’ to maps. Importing a kml file seems to be the most flexible way to do this. I can import a kml file using the WP Comprehensive Google Maps plug – in but I lose the benefit of the interactive altitude profile.
(I imagine that converting gpx sym names to kml would be another option – but there doesn’t seem to be a standard name for a train station (because Garmin doesn’t have a train station symbol) and equally while garmin has a symbol and a name for a water fountain/fontanella there’s no equivalent icon on Google Maps).
