A map with hard borders can look like a box dropped into the page. With soft edges it fades into the background of your site. This is the climb from Borso del Grappa to Campocroce, with a marker every kilometer.
Map of the route “Maps that blend into your page”: 8,14 km, 1.055 m of climbing and 1.852 m of descent, elevation between 294 m and 1.130 m, time 01:55:02. It starts at 45.83726, 11.78062 and ends at 45.82362, 11.79941 (latitude, longitude).
Total climbing: 1055 m
Turn it on for every map in the settings, or for a single map in the block. If the map sits on a colored background, give the plugin that color with fadeedges="#f4f1ea". The zoom buttons and the map credits stay sharp.
