Version 1.5.0.3

I updated to version 1.5.0.3, but since then the plugin doesn’t work anymore for showing GPX-tracks on a map. When opening a blogpost with such a track included, i get the following error-line on top of the page: WP GPX Maps Error: File xxx.gpx not found!

When you scroll down to the map; then it shows the ocean in the southern pacific, instead of the location of the GPX-track.

I’m pretty sure it’s the update, because it worked fine before…

Any suggestions?

hi marcel,

for me it works fine, also after the update.
but i had am similar issue like you due to capital letters i.e. : xxx.GPX not xxx.gpx
so 2017advent-camino00028.gpx works fine, 2017advent-camino00028.GPX not. ( refuses to upload)
also special chars like “ö,ü,ä cause some conflicts.

it’s me again 😉

i guess the troublemaker is the space in the filename:
DZW etappe6.gpx
try instead sometiing like:
DZW–etappe6.gpx

unfortunately it doesn’t help, because the shortcode which I’m using is calling the EXACT filename, in lowercase letters.

I tried changing filenames, but it didn’t help either… 🙁

I will check tomorrow. I had to change a lot of stuff because of wordpress security and something seems not working as expected

Thanks for the update Max, version 1.5.0.4 works fine here. The tracks are showing up again and no error messages anymore!
