GPX track loads without nggalleries photos

Hi,
could you please give a quick look at http://www.citycyclingschool.at/radroute-albertinaplatz-schwedenplatz/ and help me to find out, what I’m doing wrong? The map and the gpx-track load regularily, when I do not include nggalleries. Both don’t load at all when I include “ngalleries”.
On my testsite it works pretty fine! (http://www.citycyclingschool.at/testcity/albertina-schwedenplatz/)

Hi, the first website has multiple javascript errors.
I think the problem is in the template. Your theme include a old version of jquery (1.4.4) and wordpress include a newer one (1.10.2). With both js library the thickbox.js is crashing and blocks my blugin
You can edit your template header and manually delete the line with jquery-1.4.4.min.js script

Hi, thank you very much for your fast reply! When I delete “jquery-1.4.4.min.js” in the header, the topmenu (lavalamp) stops working. (http://www.citycyclingschool.at/testcity/albertina-schwedenplatz/)

Oh, some feature of your theme needs a old jquery..
You might consider to upgrade your theme or move to another one..

Upgrading the theme is unfortunately not possible. Switching to another theme right now, neither. On the other hand I wonder why all looks well on my testsite (http://www.citycyclingschool.at/testcity/albertina-schwedenplatz), although there are javascript conflicts, too.

The only difference between the two sites is the thickbox.js when is loaded it cause errors.
It uses the function .on() that is not supported in the old jquery

Hello Max,
thank you for your patience. I appreciate that a lot and I am sorry to bother you again.
Now I discovered:
1). Wp Gpx Maps works fine on http://www.citycyclingschool.at/testcity/albertina-schwedenplatz/ even though I have removed the file “thickbox.js” from “…testcity/wp-includes/js/thickbox”
2.) When I remove “thickbox.js” from “…citycyclingschool/wp-includes/js/thickbox”, Firebug says “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) …/wp-includes/js/thickbox/thickbox.js?ver=3.1-20121105” and Wp Gpx Maps doesn’t load.
Strange, isn’t it.

The next step was to comment out the code lines from 192-202 in “…/citycyclingschool.at/wp-includes/script-loader.js” to prevent loading thickbox.js from the very beginning. Wp Gpx Maps is still not showing the pictures nor the gpx-track on http://www.citycyclingschool.at/radroute-albertinaplatz-schwedenplatz/ and Firebug says “Uncaught RangeError: Maximum call stack size exceeded …”.
In testcity http://www.citycyclingschool.at/testcity/albertina-schwedenplatz/ the script-loader.js remains unchanged, thickbox.js is removed and the Firebug Console says “all fine”.

Oh, sorry! I found a problem with the old nggallery 1.9.x..
Please update my plugin to new 1.2.1 versione and it should work again..

Hi Max,
I updated to version 1.2.2 and the map shows up marvellously together with the thumbnails! ()http://www.citycyclingschool.at/radroute-albertinaplatz-schwedenplatz) Well done!! Last missing tiny little step is that when clickling on a thumbnail the corresponding picture doesn’t become big. Chrome+F12 says everytime when clicking on a thumbnail:
