Empty Gpx or not supported File!

Hello,
I’ve tried several GPX files exported from Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010 and get the same error for each one: “Empty Gpx or not supported File!” Any Idea what could be causing this? If I open the 6KB GPX file it shows the following:

which leads me to believe it is of a supported namespace. I’ve also immported the GPX into my Garmin Nuvi 500 and it works there. Any idea what could be wrong?

Also I found a GPX file that DOES work, and seems to be of the 1.0 schema. Please find it here:

The files I’m having trouble with are of the 1.1 GPX schema and use the <wpt> nodes where the ones that work use the <trkseg><trkpt> nodes.

I’d love to get this working as I am really liking this plugin. Well done!
