A map drawn by JavaScript is invisible to AI assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity, to search engines and to screen readers: they read the text of the page, not the map. So every map of WP GPX Maps also describes its track in words and in structured data.
Under this map the description is shown on purpose; normally it is hidden from view but still read by assistants, search engines and screen readers.
Map of the route “Readable by ChatGPT, Google and screen readers”: 5,17 km, 231 m of climbing and 258 m of descent, elevation between 1.563 m and 1.786 m, time 01:41:04. It starts at 45.87357, 11.80144 and ends at 45.87250, 11.79762 (latitude, longitude).
Total climbing: 231 m
The page also contains schema.org data (a TouristTrip in JSON-LD) with the distance, the climb, the highest and lowest point, the time and the line of the route. Ask an assistant “how long is the loop around Cima Grappa?” and it can answer with the right numbers.
