Hello, this is an incredible plugin, thank you for building it and for making it free! I had a couple of questions:
1. A waypoint info box appears on mouseover, but does not automatically close when you move the mouse away from the waypoint. Is there a way to change this without having to do too much JS work?
2. I set custom start and end track icons (green and red flags), but the custom icons cover the start and end waypoints, hiding any information attached to those waypoints. Instead of covering the original waypoints with a custom image, can the start and finish icons be used for the first and last data points and display information on mouseover?
3. Is there a way to remove the blank space at the top of the map? The first line of the div.media.sgpx is ” ” which is creating a blank line that I don’t want above the map. Ideally, it would be great if you could add titles to the GPX tracks, and have that title display above the map with ways to customize the appearance via CSS with an appropriate class or id.
4. Can you add a way to toggle between imperial (miles, feet) and metric (km, meters) on the altitude chart via AJAX (or some other way without requiring a page refresh)?
5. Can you add a way to customize the Download text? Ideally I would want it to say “Right Click to Download GPX”.I’ve tried quite a few GPX plugins for WordPress; yours is definitely the best! Thank you again for your amazing work!

Just in case this might help anyone else…
1. Solved by adding following code to the WP-GPX-Maps.js file, after line 1201:
google.maps.event.addListener(m, ‘mouseout’, function () {
infowindow.close();
});
3. Figured out this problem (issue with theme), but it would still be nice to add option to display track title name above map.
5. Was able to manually override this text by editing the wp-gpx-maps.php file (line 696)Hi, thanks for your code, it would be merged in the next release..
The point 4 it’s possible but it takes me a lot of time, to write all converters..
And it’s also going slow down the plugin. I wanted to cache server side in order to keep the plugin fast (both server side and client side)
I’ll think about it 🙂
