I have a system that shows maps with Wp-Gpx-maps as defined here:

http://www.tiredofit.ca/stats-logs/map/2011-11-10. See my source code as I generate this on the fly.

As you can see, it loads it fine manually.

The problem exists when I try to load it in a PrettyPhoto window, where I get nothing. I’m assuming that becuase the PrettyPhoto window is still part of the page it is loading the same files (Jquery,GoogleMaps). At one point in time this used to work but then stopped.

You can see the actual issue by visiting http://www.tiredofit.ca/statistics/south-africa and heading to the right most tab called “stats” and then clicking any of the table rows “Map” link. I can’t see what the problem is. Is there an easy way to reset the Javascript loading so this can work?

Addition: I just looked at my log: which output the following:

PHP message: PHP Notice: Undefined variable: output in /tiredofit.ca/wp
-content/plugins/wp-gpx-maps/wp-gpx-maps.php on line 670" while reading response
header from upstream, client: 127.0.0.1, server: tiredofit.ca, request: "GET /s
    tats-logs/2011-12-07?ajax=true&width=80%&height=60% HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcg
    i://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock:", host: "www.tiredofit.ca"

Not sure if that will help.

    Hi Dave,
there are a couple of javascript errors in your site and they might bock your map.

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ; (index):1534
Uncaught TypeError: Property '$' of object [object Object] is not a function toi.js?ver=1.0:55

The first one is generated by a missing parenthesis, or something like that..
The second one it’s because you’re using $ to call jquery library. Some websites need jQuery in stead of $ sintax. just replace $ with jQuery and everyting should work
