Are lots of files created in the tmp folder? My website is small, only about 250MB, and so I only have 2GB of space, but it seems that since installing this plugin my usage has been increasing. To quote support from my web host..
It looks like you have a bunch of files in the /tmp folder. I’ve cleared this out but it may take a while for the system to reflect the change.
This is what the content of your files look like and there are a ton of them:

Does that sound reasonable?
Without cache it might a bit slower, it depends of your files size.. If you have big files it might be a problem!
I don’t think disabling cache would be a good idea, you’d save a couple of MB but your hosting is forced to read the gpx files every time you load a page and this might be slow..Well the tmp folder seems to be getting so big that even though my website is only 250MB, I’m hitting my 2GB limit a week or so after clearing the tmp folder out and it’s apparently filled with gpx files. The only plugin I have that uses gpx is yours so I’m confused.
